The Merdeka 50 Years celebration was held in Kuching with an exhibition of Sarawak’s past & present history, in Malaysia.
The conceptual design and built was assigned to ida to deliver an ambience that reflect the historical journeys and ‘live’ environmental reconstructions from Malacca settlement through the White Rajahs to the British Governors and Sarawak Independence in Malaysia. The story telling was conveyed through with life size 2D die-cut and collections of artifacts from the Sarawak Museum archive. The fabrication of the replica Portuguese ship is a mammoth task by itself.
Visitors enjoyed a fascinating and educational ‘tour’ at this exhibition.
